abauble is a very small planet, approximately 12,802 miles around the equator, with approximately 25,750,000 square miles of land, all of which is centered around the equator in a long strip of land, with essentially nothing but water from there to either of the poles.

days are 32 hours long, with day/night cycles characterized by the coming and going of large rainstorms, which flood the planet up to 5 feet in some places. these rainstorms will rage all night, subside to gentle rains by morning, and return at dusk, with the day in-between being hot enough to dry up most of the water.

in the summer, nights are about 15 hours long, with days being 17, including dawn/dusk times. in the winter, nights are typically 20 hours long and days 12.
