8TH ST. CHURCH

The Oklahoma Historical Society's article on Germans in Oklahoma has a bibliography which references the first German Methodist church in Oklahoma.
I had trouble finding any more information on this, as the articles it mentions aren't available online. Googling "first german methodist church oklahoma city," only brings up a blog entry about the church, which demonstrated Anton Classen's reach in OKC even more, and a news article discussing upcoming renovations to the building, which identifies it as the 8th Street Midtown Church. Their website, https://www.8thstreetchurch.org/our-story, gives a nice history of the building, and provides this lovely image I plan to use on one of the slides:

BEGINNEN DEN FILM - 4 DEC

After serious investigation, I have decided I don't know how to use any video editing software and don't feel like teaching myself at this point in time, so I'm just going to make a Google Slides presentation and record my screen. Nobody will even notice.

A link to a book that will probably be useful, available online:

Germans in Oklahoma.
I've investigated the bibiography a bit and can't seem to find any German sources in it, unfortunately.

LASS UNS ANFANGEN! - OKT

In Oklahoma City liegt a bakery and deli called Ingrid's, claiming to sport authentic European food. I first heard of this restaurant in middle school, when German Club (which was not much of a club and existed mostly to facilitate loopholes in the school district's policies on field trips) was going to Ingrid's to eat.
